This is no Ordinary Alaska Fishing Lodge

Alaska's number one rated and reviewed adventure resort. Talon is more than your typical Alaska fishing lodge. Guests enjoy Alaska Salmon and Halibut fishing, Adventure Excursions, Gourmet Cuisine, and Alaska's Most Spectacular Setting.

Located a short boat ride from Sitka, Alaska.  Talon Lodge and Spa is recognized as the premier Sitka fishing lodge, and premier Alaska fishing resort.

We have combined Alaska’s most spectacular setting with large and comfortable boats, the area’s most experienced captains, and world-class cuisine. More importantly, we have assembled a service staff that is attentive to our guest's every need. Our greatest compliment comes from a host of guests that tell us over and over again – “Talon Lodge delivers everything that they advertise and Talon exceeds our expectations.”

When you have your own private bar that overlooks Alaska’s Inside Passage, with eagles overhead and the occasional whale passing by – you need to be right in the middle of the action. The Talon Lodge Beach Bar is a one-of-a-kind facility that allows Talon guests to enjoy Alaska in a warm and comfortable environment, yet be outside with all of the sights and sounds that make Alaska so breathtaking.

The Alaska saltwater sport fishing offered by Talon Lodge is nothing short of fantastic. According to the Alaska Fish and Game department, Sitka anglers benefit from the saltwater salmon fishery that is the best in Alaska. In addition to great Salmon fishing, the Halibut fishing in Sitka is some of the best in Alaska. Fortunately, the Halibut fishing grounds are only minutes from the Salmon fishing grounds. Sitka also provides Ling Cod and Yellow Eye fishing.

Our freshwater fishing trips feature native Steelhead in the spring, native Rainbows and Cutthroats in the summer, and a variety of wild Alaska Salmon. The Sockeye Salmon run is in late June and early July. The Silver Salmon run is in late August through late September.

Just because you’re embarking on an adventure in the awe-inspiring Alaskan wilderness doesn’t mean you have to rough it in second-rate accommodations. At Talon Lodge, our main lodge building features a comfortable lounge area and a spacious deck with plenty of space to kick back and enjoy your favorite refreshments with your fellow anglers at the end of the day. The main lodge is also equipped with a full gourmet kitchen and serves as the main dining hall.

Our guest accommodations offer a flexible configuration to fit the needs of groups of two, four, six, or more. And you can rest assured that we won’t cramp your style, all of our accommodations are designed for double occupancy.

There is nothing quite like our massage experience in all of Alaska—if not the entire Pacific Northwest. Water lapping beneath you. Eagles calling above you. The warmth and crackling of a wood fire by your side. Now add the professional touch of a certified massage therapist and you have the Talon Lodge massage experience. Imagine spending the day being pampered and treated to a massage overlooking the most spectacular view in the Pacific Northwest. Or, imagine ending an excellent day of fishing with the ultimate method of relaxation.

The Talon Lodge dining experience rivals the finest restaurant anywhere! True gourmet cuisine starts with a fusion of high standards, local ingredients, and creativity. At Talon Lodge, our team of culinary experts pulls everything together to provide our guests with a true gourmet dining experience. With a true farm-to-table menu, you will enjoy all the flavors Alaska can offer.
